01. THE RESEARCH & DESIGN
Our journey begins with extensive research and development into the design of the collection and mosaic art. We draw inspiration from historical mosaics to create unique patterns that reflect our artistic vision.
02. DEVELOPMENT OF THE MOSAIC PATTERNS
Once the designs are finalized, we develop the mosaic patterns on fabric or leather. This step involves translating our intricate designs into beautiful pieces that will become the foundation of our products.
03. SELECTING THE FINEST VEGETABLE TANNED LEATHER AND DYEING OUR EXCLUSIVE COLOURS
We meticulously select the highest grade of leather, matching the colours and tones to complement the mosaic artwork. Our exclusive leather and custom-developed tones ensure a unique and cohesive look.
04. STARTING DEVELOPMENT: PREPARING AND CUTTINGMATERIALS
The creation process begins with cutting the leather and mosaic fabric according to precise patterns. Each piece is carefully measured and prepared for assembly.
05. ASSEMBLY
The mosaic fabric and leather pieces are positioned together, aligning them precisely according to the pattern. This delicate process ensures that every element fits perfectly before the bag is stitched together.
06. EDGE DYEING
The raw leather edges are hand dyed in a meticulous process. The edges are smoothed, painted, and dried multiple times to achieve a flawless finish that exemplifies true craftsmanship.
07. ADDING METAL PIECES
Our carefully selected hardware, including snaps, decorations, and ornaments, is added to enhance the bag's aesthetics. If we can't find the perfect pieces, we develop our own, personalized with our logo to maintain our commitment to unique details.
08. HAND STITCHING AND FINISHING TOUCHES
Our artisans add the final hand stitching details and then perform a thorough inspection for any irregularities and minor defects, ensuring each piece meets our rigorous quality standards.
09. Packaging and Certificates
The final step involves preparing the accessory for shipping. We add padding to maintain the bag's shape and wrap everything in recycled tissue paper.
Each package includes a certificate of authenticity, a traced and audited leather certificate from the "Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata Al Vegetale", and a mosaic history card detailing the story and heritage of the mosaic artwork.
